The music video for Joe Holt’s “Who Cares” was shot with an iPhone 13 Pro for a total cost of $300. Joe and I improvised this video and channeled our college days when fancy gear and big budgets didn’t matter. The video was periodically shot in Los Angeles over the course of three days in between recording sessions for a new album currently in the works with Charles Humenry, Joe’s longtime producer, college best friend, and my husband. Joe and I utilized LA’s top notch costume rentals to find a donkey head and thrifted a grey suit from Goodwill before wandering Los Angeles to film the main character in as many situations as possible. To amplify the visuals of the video, we rented Moment’s Anamorphic mobile lens and tapped a friend for the final drone shot.
